Our Story
At Little Mountain Adventure, we are passionate about the outdoors and helping people connect with nature whether your adventure is Hiking trails in White Mountains or Rock/ ice climbing around New England area. Our journey began over 20 years ago, we continue to uphold of quality and exceptional customer service.
Owner/Guide
Fred Wilk is a dedicated wilderness guide, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to every expedition. My certifications include Wilderness First Aid, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI), and Expedition Skills Seminar completion. As a Leave No Trace Advocate, I'm committed to preserving the natural landscapes we explore. I have climbed from the west coast Mount Rainer, to tallest mountain on this continent Mt Denalli to Africas tallest Mount Kilimanjaro, Completed all of New hampshire 48 over 4000 " peaks.
My approach to guiding is rooted in building strong relationships and fostering teamwork. I excel at creating shared experiences that bring groups together, using clear communication and thorough preparation as my foundation. By staying attuned to both individual needs and group dynamics, I adjust the pace and support level to cultivate trust and cohesion within the team.
I bring a positive, accepting attitude to every adventure, focusing on each person's strengths to help them shine. My risk assessment skills allow me to balance safety with personal growth, giving individuals the freedom to challenge themselves and build resilience in a supported environment.
